AWStats - AWStats is an open source web analytics reporting tool, suitable for analyzing data from Internet services such as web, streaming media, mail and ftp servers. AWstats parses and analyzes server log files, producing html reports.
Surface web - The surface web (or visible web)is that portion of the World Wide Web that is indexed by conventional search engines. Search engines construct a database of the web by having programs called spiders or web crawlers that begin with a list of known web pages.
Deep web - The deep web (or invisible web or hidden web) is the name given to pages on the World Wide Web that are not part of the surface web that is indexed by common search engines. It consists of pages which are not linked to by other pages, such as Dynamic Web pages.

At Harvard his own students included many now-famed philosophers, including Donald Davidson, David Lewis, and Daniel Dennett. Each chapter contains problems that will help develop awareness of the convergence of social practices and information artifacts; and collaborative knowledge construction in digital libraries.
